Wow - another Thanksgiving is come and gone. Hope you had a good one!
For academics, Thanksgiving is often about when we're starting to wrap the semester up. There's nothing new to create now; all that's left is the feedback and grading, hopefully. It's just a hop, skip, and a jump until the end of the semester and a happy time for all at the university (usually). I hope some of that feeling of hope translates online. It's a wonderful thing and I wonder if that may be one of the things we lose with online courses. What do you think? Are you excited to be coming up to the end of class and the winter break?

This has been a wonderful semester and learning experience. I did have some difficulty with the change project but other than that the clinical experience was priceless. It has made me a more confident nurse and yes, I am very happy about the winter break. I had my baby 5 days before this semester started so it has been challenging with taking 11 hours, working full time, and having a newborn. Put with the help of God, I was able to make it through. Thanks for being a supportive instructor.
ReplyDeleteThis was a very challenging semester! My mentor was invaluable! I learned so much from her, I warned her that I was probably going to keep this relationship going so I could keep learning from her... Luckily, she didn't start throwing things at me! We had so many interesting discussions. I will miss our weekly time together.
ReplyDeleteI have been accepted to the master's program, so I may get to utilize her again officially!
I can't wait for the winter break. For the first time in my memory as an adult, I've taken the entire last week of the year off. This will actually be a winter BREAK!
Thanks So Much for all of your guidance and support! We are all better Professional Nurses because of this class!
