Greetings, All! Now that the course is underway and many of you are starting your clinical preceptorships, we'll phase in the blogs as well. Your blogs provide a place to reflect upon your precepted clinicals, connect them with your own experiences as a nurse, and consider your future nursing practice following the RN-BS program. I will use this blog to post announcements and ideas about the RN-BS transition (one I have taken as well). Additionally, Jennifer and Linda will use this space to reflect on their own growth as professional nurses over the years.
Blogging may take a while to get comfortable with it, but keep at it and it will come along. You should post one reflective journal entry (worth 2 points) each week, as well as visiting your peers' blogs and building upon common experiences and ideas. While these spaces are yours and you have significant freedom to post what you will, do remember that your blog posts should relate to the course and your preceptored clinical experiences. If your blog does not appear on this page, please send me your blog address so that I can post it. This will allow you to fully participate in the course.
